How can we approach sustainable apparel design from the user-end perspective by designing clothes that encourage us to consume less?

Looking specifically at men’s outerwear, the proposed design aims to disrupt current patterns of apparel consumption by integrating the values of modularity and adaptability into consumer/clothing relationships. By enabling users to adapt their clothing based on context and aesthetic preferences, I seek to provide an alternative solution to the practical and social needs that drive us to consume in the first place.
