How can we avoid compact living?
The problem that I focused on is urbanization. More population is jamming into the city and as a side effect, housing price for major cities like Toronto has gone off the roof. One of the strategies that people take to cut down the cost is to move into a smaller living unit. As a result, compact living has become problems for many Millennials and young professionals. my project aim is to design a set of furniture that engages with our living environment to save space and avoid compact living.
