Project Description

Qoral is an app service that empowers the Queer community in the greater job market by connecting job seekers with Queer industry professionals. We prioritize inclusivity by partnering with Pride At Work Canada, ensuring that all parties involved are committed to inclusive practices. Our platform streamlines job applications, fosters career development, and expands opportunities beyond traditional innovation hubs. Through Qoral, job seekers receive tailored advice and affirming support, ushering in a new era of career development.

Insight

Navigating the job market can be daunting when faced with unfamiliarity and a lack of relatability. Queer individuals seek representation and allyship, embracing innovative perspectives. They deserve a service as unique and forward-thinking as they are, one that not only addresses challenges but inspires them to believe in themselves.

Idea

My thesis project aims to help Queer job seekers succeed in diverse job fields and overcome their career anxieties. By connecting them with opportunities and supportive networks, I hope to boost their confidence and increase workplace inclusivity.

Impact

Qoral is a symbol of recognition, support, and empowerment for queer individuals in the job market. It signifies a space where they can find meaningful representation and opportunities tailored to their experiences and aspirations. It means having a resource that understands their challenges and actively works to address them.
