Walden aims to positively effect solo trips into nature. Solitude and exploration can be emotionally valuable pursuits; however, sleep can pose a significant barrier to these goals. Walden is a structurally reinforced jumpsuit which acts as a hanging bed when suspended between trees. This is an efficient sleep solution which removes the need for outerwear, tents, and sleeping bags. In practice, this makes sleep a fluid part of a journey– allowing users to explore and connect with nature.
