Palette: Post-Corona Career Growth Place

What if the human resource industry was humanely designed, without limiting talent into a one-size-fits-all job description?

Palette is a post-corona career growth place, that completely flips the dynamic of today’s job market. Instead of having job postings, it contains postings of talents’ contributions that individuals organically create on their own. Then, recruiters explore talents’ unique contributions and reach out with matching opportunities. Through this upside-down approach to hiring, talents benefit by starting a meaningful & passionate career that is shaped based on true self, and recruiters are introduced to a pool of highly-engaged talents that ensures attraction and retention.

Insight

COVID-19 is one of the best things that happened to the job market. The job market was already terrible before, as 66% of Millennials were expected to leave their jobs by the end of 2020 because of a lack of engagement.

Now for the first time, we are completely isolated from the workplace environment and free to explore outside of our job descriptions. Realizing that job descriptions are a small portion of who we are, I decided to redesign today's approach to hiring.

Idea

How about creating an inside-out job market, where opportunities are shaped based on talents? By abandoning one-size-fits-all job descriptions and titles, talents can blend their passion and experience to drive the best work and maintain engagement.

Palette is the next career growth place that redefines hiring as a contribution journey. In the digital app, talents are invited to organically create their contributions (title, description) and get connected with ideal career opportunities from recruiters.

Impact

Palette empowers talents to become the architects of their dreams. As millions of professionals reset their career from the recent layoffs, Palette serves as the perfect tool to showcase their unique contribution and reflect on which role enables them to thrive and fulfill their career.
