NOOK

How can we refresh industry and boost local economies to create new opportunities within Canadian small population centres, that will benefit both the current residents and encourage new tourism and inhabitancy within them?

NOOK is a digital service for individuals in rural communities to market their unique skills to the world. It's purpose is to act as a promotional platform for rural activities in order to curate, preserve, and nurture them for future generations. Through NOOK, participants are able to connect their passion or interests with artisans and experts across Canada, with the option to learn about their creative trade digitally, in person, or through local community groups.
