How can furniture disrupt our attachment to mobile phones?
The constant connectivity granted by smartphones and mobile devices has revolutionized the day-to-day lives of people living in the 21st century. Exploring the key issue of smartphone attachment and self-regulation of screen time, external intervention is considered.
This project reimagines some of the everyday objects we interact with most as sites where technological dependence can be intercepted and questioned. Proposed interactions are aimed at reclaiming conversation and being present.
