Neo: Your Digital Butler
Often the most difficult part of starting is the “how”. However, what if the "how" was able to reach out to us the way we needed?
Neo is a meta-cognitive cloud service. The Digital Butler is the advanced social robot modeled on your personality to respond based on the way you think, feel and react. Digital Butlers are tasked to organize information in a way that is accessible and useful specifically to the user. Its sole purpose would be to understand and be understood by you.
By applying data like contextual psychographics and personality indicators based on models such as the Myers-Briggs indicators, we can start providing AI insight into the way we think and function. This would allow the Digital Butler to deliver intrinsically relevant responses to us how and when we would need it, using intelligence to synthesize digital empathy.
Insight
As new breakthroughs are made in the world of brain-computer interactions and neuroscience, the way we will interface with cyberspaces is going to change completely. Interfaces have been developed based on an aggregate of user behaviours. Everyone thinks and communicates differently but as a result, we are still required to use an aggregate-based interface archetype. However, as we better understand how our brains work, so should our devices. Our technology needs to start thinking about the way we think.
Idea
Neo is a two-fold cloud service. First, it is an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), which consists of a virtual private cloud that allows for secure private storage of data as well as running cloud-based applications. And secondly, it is a Software as a Service (SaaS), which is an interface by way of an advanced virtual assistant which is modeled to respond and access information based on the user’s contextual psychographic data as well as indicators in personality. As a result, creating interactions that are synthesized through digital empathy for the user.
Impact
Brain computer interactions are about to enable many people who have been unable to communicate before. Interfaces and information transfer will no longer be only reliant on sensory inputs like vision or sound.Neo is intended to provide the base structure to what will be a more complex interfacing system over time as more discoveries are made in the field of Brain-Computer Interactions. By understanding how the user prefers to navigate challenges or receive information allows for efficient communication and understanding of information regarding the task at hand.
